Sanctuary Renovation

A church sanctuary rebuilt around a full height stacked stone feature wall behind the altar, with new drywall on the surrounding walls and ceiling planes worked from scaffolding. The stone is a split face ledger veneer, set piece by piece so the coursing stays level across the whole wall.

Commercial interiors run on a schedule the congregation can live with, so the crew sequenced demolition, framing, drywall and stone to keep the space usable between phases. The photos show the room mid build and at the stone finish.
