Structural work is where a general contractor earns the name: setting roof trusses and collar ties, framing new walls in an existing house, laying block and building out a basement from bare studs and insulation to a finished room.

Every one of these frames is the crew on site with the material in hand. The framing shots show the layout and fastening before drywall covers it, which is the part a homeowner never sees and the part that decides whether the finish work stays straight.
